Well this currently post is going up a little later in the month than I intended but the past few weeks have just been….well….I’ll explain more in this post. Let’s get to it, shall we?
loving. Getting Baby-related happy mail at least twice a week–I swear I’ve been stalking the UPS man whenever he comes to our street just to see if his delivery is for me. And that the husband has had lots of time off these past few weeks thanks to the holiday and leave time (hence why there’s been a lack of blog posts!).
feeling. Grateful. If you follow me on Facebook, you know that the husband and I were involved in a car accident on the Fourth of July weekend. Thankfully, everyone involved is unhurt and I’m so incredibly grateful for that.
needing. More hours in the day and more days in each week. I feel like time is flying by!
wanting. A good night’s sleep (without two or more bathroom wake-up calls).
going. To the auto shop on Thursday to finally start repairs on our car. As of now, the window on my side won’t roll up so it’s been pretty been much impossible to leave unattended anywhere other than our driveway. Let’s just say we’ve been getting lots of exercise this past week!
writing. In my bullet journal every day.
reading. All of the blog posts you guys have written these past few weeks!
watching. Forrest Gump…for the very first time. I know, I can’t believe it took me this long either.
listening. To Zach play his latest favorite video game, Fall Out 4.
smelling. Duke’s puppy breath. He loves making his presence beside me on the couch known by panting in my face. Not pleasant but super cute.
wishlisting. Obviously all the baby stuff. Duh.
wearing. My best friend sent me about a dozen shirts she’d thought I’d like after I
told her complained I couldn’t find any good fitting pregnancy clothes. I’ve been wearing the shiznit out of them for the past few weeks and I actually feel stylish again! #winning
craving. Ice cream, not gonna lie.
eating. Grilled steak with homemade marsala sauce and twice-baked potatoes. Deliciousness on a plate.
toasting. To Zach’s and my fourth anniversary. We celebrated on the third with lots of ‘us’ time, a few of our favorite movies, and a homemade dinner that was to die for!
working on. My very first newsletter. Hopefully it’ll be going out this week so be sure you’re signed up!
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
I shared how I organize my editorial calendar and a few tips on how you can make yours work for you.
This month I’m making it a point to pray intentionally for my husband and I knew I wanted to share my “30 Days of Prayer” cards with you. Very exciting–because they’re officially the start of my new printable library. Hurrah!
My pregnancy is finally becoming a little more real to me and I shared a few things that I would have loved to have been told about the whole experience in my last Thoughts for your Thoughts session (with a little bit of humor of course).
And not written about but definitely experienced, our car accident on July 2nd. As I mentioned above, I’m grateful no one was hurt but our car has been out of commission since.
Which means we’ve officially become homebodies this past week, including for our fourth anniversary and the Fourth of July.
It definitely wasn’t what we had planned–but we’ve made the best out of it. Still, I’m excited for this Thursday when our car goes in for repairs and we get our rental car.
