AKA– I feel like a beached whale
All About Month Eight
Due Date: September 9, 2016 (currently 35 weeks and counting)
Gender: Baby Girl!!
Name: Baby E or Baby Girl Fishy here on the blog
Doctor’s Appointments: This month I had two run-of-the-mill doctor’s appointments and our Labor & Delivery tour at the hospital. Currently we’re all registered and ready to go as soon as Baby E decides to make her debut….well, except for the hospital bags–those aren’t packed yet.
I’m not-so-patiently waiting for my ultrasound appointment next Monday. After that, I have a doctor’s appointment every Friday until my due date. Guys, it’s getting sooooo close! My pregnancy tracking app tells me I only have 4 weeks left—eeeeeek!
The Little Mover: Baby Girl is still as active as ever and I’ve actually gotten a few good videos of her moving around in there. I still feel like she has a lot of room in there and her movements aren’t super uncomfortable yet.
How I’m Feeling: Hi, I’m Elizabeth and I walk like a duck–a very sleep-deprived duck. I wake up at least 3 times a night to use the bathroom and usually it takes around an hour to get comfortable again after I go back to bed. The joints in my hands are still extremely sore but thankfully my wedding ring still fits (I had to take off my engagement ring around my 20ish week because it’s a size smaller than my wedding band). Also stretch marks–I admit I wasn’t the best about using lotion throughout my pregnancy so I definitely have my fair share of tiger stripes but I’m trying to keep a good attitude about it.
What I’m Most Looking Forward to in Month Nine:
Wow, guys, my next pregnancy update will probably be a baby announcement!! *Insert wide-eyed emoji here.* Time has literally flown and I can’t believe Baby is almost here.
This week though I’m looking forward to our 36-week ultrasound. Crossing all the fingers and toes that Baby is in the right position (thanks to Chelsea, I’ve been doing some spinning exercises every day so hopefully they’ve been working).
Other than that, hello, I’m looking forward to having a baby!!! Ok maybe not the whole labor part but I’m so excited that Zach and I will finally meet little Baby E sometime this month!
