What I’ve been missing most in the blogging world these days is the community. That’s the part of blogging I’ve always loved. So in an effort to do my part in creating a welcome space for all my friends on this blog of mine, I’m going to be sharing a few links from around the blog-o-sphere that have stuck out to me this month.
Links I Love
+ Earlier in the month, I wrote about setting family intentions for the year so I really appreciated Amberly’s post about setting SMART goals in your marriage. I also loved that she had a video to go along with her post.
+ I’ve been really into crafting while Zach is gone–especially scrapbooking and one of my favorite scrapbookers to follow is Ingunn from Trail Snail. Her layouts inspire me so much and I’m a BIG fan of her Instagram and blog. She shared a post about her favorite layouts of 2017 and I was so inspired!
+ This post from my gal Melissa from Loving Life Moore about knowing your own worth came just at the right time for me.
+ Another post from Amberly (seriously though, if you’re looking for a great marriage blog, check hers out). I loved this post about how having a dog can prepare you for marriage.
+ I don’t usually share political posts on the blog but this piece from Huffington Post really struck a chord with me and I challenge you, no matter what your political leanings are, to give it a read.
+ Kait from CommuniKait recently published a great post all about Instagram and the struggle I think most bloggers face with authenticity and social media.
+ Rachel, from Countdowns & Cupcakes, talked about embracing change as a military spouse which is something we’re experiencing in abundance these days.
+ And finally, along with fodder for our minds, we could all use a little inspiration for our tummies coming into Valentine’s Day, am I right?! Alex’s Monster Heart Brownies had me salivating and searching my cabinets for brownie mix!
My Favorite #ODA Posts of the Month
+ My thoughts on being a solo mama have been on my heart for awhile and I loved sharing them with all of you.
+ Printable posts are my favorite to work on and my Valentine Love Notes were no different (and I even included them in my hubby’s Valentine’s Day care package).
+ With the husband deployed, I’ve been thinking about how I’m coping with his job and the tactics I use to combat the stress.
