And another month bites the dust! Name that song. Full disclosure this month was a bit of an off time for me. It’s been a stressful time behind the scenes and that was definitely reflective on the blog. However, I do have a few favorites this month.
And, as always, if you’ve written or read any great posts lately, leave the link in the comments below. I’m always looking for more blogs to follow!
LINKS I LOVE
+ You guys already know how much I love the Five Love Languages, but I never really gave any thought to applying the languages to my toddler. That is until I read Susannah’s post. It’s so fun to see Baby E’s personality blossom and I’ve been paying a lot more attention to what forms of love makes her smile just a little brighter.
+ Lindsay just has a way with words, guys. As a military spouse who struggles with anxiety around her husband’s job, this post really resonated with me. I often find myself repeating the ‘canned answer’ people expect to certain questions about our military life but Lindsay said everything that I wish I could say instead.
+ Lately, I’ve been trying to make all my social media and branding more cohesive and this tutorial for an interactive email signature prettied up my brand just a little more.
+ Marriage after baby can be hard. But being best friends with your spouse makes the whole co-parenting thing just a bit easier.
+ If you’re not reading Kait’s blog yet, well, where have you been in the blogging world? I love this post she wrote about the importance of hearing no as a creative.
MY FAVORITE #ODA POSTS OF THE MONTH
+ I confess! I shared a few fun confessions about being a military spouse on the blog.
+ Memory keeping has been a passion of mine for the past year or so and I’ve been loving sharing some of my projects on Instagram and now, my new sister blog. I shared some of my essentials for memory keeping over on Our Darling Memories.
