As you all know, May was a big month for us–we are so happy to have Zach home and we’re currently soaking up some family time as we speak.
As always, if you’ve written or read any great posts lately, leave the link in the comments below. I’m always looking for more blogs to follow!
LINKS I LOVE
+ I know I’m probably late to the party but I just discovered Katie’s blog a few months ago (through the amazing Kait) and I’ve loved following along with her Hawaiian adventures. Body image has been on my mind lately and I loved the post all about how moms can help cultivate self-love in their daughters. (Also if you haven’t read Katie’s personal story, you totally should!-she’s a huge inspiration)
+ Sometimes I have moments when I’m sitting in front of the computer screen and can’t think of anything to write about. When that happens I usually turn to mind mapping but I also love Hannah’s ideas to get your blogging inspiration back on track. I’m definitely going to give her ‘over a cup of coffee’ trick a try the next time I’m searching for a topic to write about.
+ If you’re a military spouse, you’ve probably heard of the word dependa. Rachel shared a whole new perspective on this term and, I’m not going to lie, I kinda love it.
+ I tried to narrow down a favorite post from my gal Amberly’s blog. I really did. But honestly all of her posts this month have been out-of-the-park amazing so it was pretty much impossible. Buuuut, if you only have time for one post, I’d choose this one. Or this one.
+ Was anyone else super excited for the newest Marvel movie? I’ve resisted seeing any of the new ones that have come out while Zach’s been away but that doesn’t mean I didn’t watch this clip at least 100 times.
+ Something about summer screams smoothies to me (and ice cream, but that’s a whole other post). If you’re looking for some delicious new smoothie recipes, this post by Madison is perfect for you.
MY FAVORITE #ODA POSTS OF THE MONTH
+ May is Military Appreciation Month so I’ve posted quite a few military-related posts this month. This one is probably my favorite.
+ I posted a super personal post about my struggle with body image and, even though, it took a lot for me to press the publish button, I’m glad I did.
+ Obviously, this post is my absolute favorite from the month. Actually, it might be my favorite of the year.
