You guys, I love how this monthly series has made me so much more intentional about reading blogs. Community was what brought me back to blogging and I love sharing the posts I’m reading with all of you. I actually jotted down thirteen posts to share with you all but decided to narrow things down just a little.
If you’ve read (or written) any great posts lately, leave the link in the comments below. I’m always looking for more blogs to follow!
Links I Love
+ As a first-time momma, I had a huge list of expectations for myself when E was born. And only a few of my expectations became reality. This post by Amanda really struck home for me because I’m definitely a very different mom than I thought I would be. She also shared this product guide for babies and toddlers and I’ve already found a few things to add to my shopping list.
+ I’ve been following Madison since I first started blogging and I love checking out the delicious recipes she posts on her blog. Zach wasn’t home for Valentine’s Day this year but I’m definitely saving this recipe for Strawberry Pot de Creme for next year!
+ Not going to lie, these past few weeks have been tough for me. This post by Karen really helped shift my perspective and focus on the good (and inspired me to write a post about perspective coming next month).
+ Even though this HuffPost piece is aimed at parents, I think avoiding some of these throw-away phrases would benefit other couples as well.
+ I wish I would have discovered some of the apps Keating included on this list when I was pregnant!
+ My gal Jen shares the most creative STEM activities she does with her kiddos and I’m saving all of them to use when E is old enough.
My Favorite #ODA Posts of the Month
+ In honor of Valentine’s Day, I took a trip down memory lane and shared our love story. I really love reading these type of posts and realized I’ve never shared ours!
+ This month marked Zach’s sixth year in the military and I’m still in denial that it’s been so long. If you’ve ever wondered how infantry basic training works, this is a good post to familiarize you.
+ As you know, focus is a big part of my intentions this year and I’m excited to add a weekly couple’s check-in to our marriage routine.
